The site is a Photographic history of Newcastle on tyne and colliery villages in the North East of England, in particular the area of Weetslade in Northumberland including the villages Burradon, Dudley, Seghill, Seaton Burn, in the 19th Century. Although I do not have old photos I have collected photographs of local churches, Schools, chapels, miners institutes and railway stations which could aid genealogy research.
There is also a section of photograps from my own genealogy which show transport and military uniforms. Pages on the site include Migration, Irish, Housing, Education and Work.
