Banquet at Dudley.-On Saturday, the members of the Dudley Temperance Society held their
annual fruit banquet in the chapel, when addresses were delivered by Messers. Bolton, Chipchase and Lawson. Mr. A. Moody and his excellent band performed several pieces of
instrumental music at intervals by Mr. Wm. Hobkirk, the conductor, and theSeghill Choral Society, greatly interested the meeting by their vocal powers. The audience were supplied with fruit and cake in large abundance in the course of the evening. The chair was occupied by Mr. John Bell, Dudley in the absence of Mr. F. Elliot who was expected to preside.
